Share Logistics nets 25% of Asthon Cargo
The Spanish forwarder Asthon Cargo, operator of offices in Bilbao, Valencia, Barcelona, Algeciras and Vigo, is to sell 25% of its capital to Share Logistics, the logistics subsidiary of the Dutch financial group Count.
This modus operandi will boost Asthon Cargo’s international presence thanks to Share Logistics’ business in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy, Czechia, the USA, Panama and Brazil.
The synergy resulting from Share Logistics’ 25% stake in Asthon Cargo will reinforce the latter’s logistics presence in sectors such as perishables, pharmaceuticals, project cargo, live events, greenhouse construction projects, dangerous goods and spare parts transport, in which the Dutch company is also a recognised specialist.
