SGL builds up in Brazil
Scan Global Logistics has acquired Blu Logistics Brasil to further strengthen its presence in South America’s largest country. The takeover gives SGL access to the network of the ocean freight importer, including headquarters in Sao Paulo and seven further offices in the country employing over 200 people.
Blu also offers airfreight services and provides customs, trucking and cabotage services. Over the last ten years, it has built up its presence in Brazil, while SGL has been expanding to markets such as Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, and Mexico.
