SF Airlines expands its international network
The Chinese cargo carrier SF Airlines launched its Zhengzhou (China) - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) service last week, its fifth new route this year. On this connection, the company will deploy a B757-200F aircraft, which will probably use its 28 t capacity mainly to transport e-commerce products, general cargo and perishable goods.
Zhengzhou, which is situated in the province of Henan in central China, is a multimodal logistics hub. China’s civil aviation authority and Henan’s provincial government underlined the hub’s great importance in the “Zhengzhou international air cargo hub strategic plan” which they issued in a joint publication in July last year.
After Changsha (Ho-Chi-Minh City, Vietnam), Shenzhen (Singapore) and Lanzhou (Bangkok, Thailand), SF Airlines has now added Zhengzhou to its network in Southeast Asia. (ah)
