Sennder acquires CHR’s Est
The European road forwarder Sennder has announced the acquisition of C.H. Robinson’s European Surface Transportation unit (Est). Following a transition period, Est will operate under the Sennder brand. The companies didn’t disclose details of the transaction.
With this acquisition Sennder has 20 locations in Europe with a team of about 1,600 employees. As a part of the integration, Sennder will expand its management team with Chris Mills, chief operating officer and former vice-president of Est, Christoffer Haldemar, chief commercial officer and former sales director, and Arkadiusz Glinka, chief growth officer and former product director.
Sennder CEO David Nothacker says that “the new management team’s experience and expertise in building and managing a complex road freight transport product in Europe is invaluable.” (js)
