Selling trucks at a price per kilometre
Quantron and Goldstone are forming a joint venture (JV) to jointly develop a digital platform for the Quantron-as-a-service offering. It will enable Quantron to provide trucks and buses to its customers at a price per kilometre. The digital platform will act as a transaction tool with all processes orchestrated in the background.
Through the user front-end, customers will also be able to measure the performance of the zero-emission vehicle to increase efficiency, such as hydrogen consumption, kilometres driven or CO2 savings.
Roadzen is a strategic partner in this JV, which will offer services such as insurance-as-a-service, roadside assistance, and extended warranty modules with its digital product portfolio.
The partners plan to jointly invest a double-digit million euros amount in the project over the next 36 months. The target markets for this service will be Europe, USA, India, and the Middle East. (ben)
