Seifert approaches the EUR 300 million mark
The German-based Seifert Logistics Group (SLG) closed its 75th financial year with a record turnover of over EUR 260 million, which is an increase of 20% compared to 2021. The main growth drivers were the logistics division and the opening of the new logistics centre in Ulm North.
The contract logistics sector contributed to the group's continued growth with an uptick in turnover of more than 25%, while the transport sector posted a rise of 17%. This improvement was driven by new projects and the expansion of existing orders.
SLG also enlarged its transport division with the acquisition of BTL Spedition. On average, SLG handled 1,500 transports per day in 2022, and it forecasts further growth for 2023. The plan is to break the EUR 300 million mark this year. (ben)
