Segro setting up in Paris 13
The real estate services provider Segro is set to develop an urban logistics hub in Paris Les Gobelins, having signed a lease agreement with the delivery services provider Coursier.fr. Once masonry work is completed by the end of this month the former freight station will further see the installation of a show unit and a first dock, to enable future tenants to better visualise its layout.
Segro will then work to develop a 1,600 sqm unit for Coursier.fr, as part of the latter’s local express delivery network. The hub is set out to support bicycle and urban logistics, helping the tenant cut carbon emissions and enhance speedy distribution.
This is facilitated by its location in Paris 13, 15 minutes from the centre of Paris and just 5 minutes from the ring road. Development on the unit is scheduled for early June, after which Coursier.fr can move in. (mk)
