Segro lets space in Slough
In the largest single industrial letting of this year on its Slough trading estate, Segro has signed a lease with Rhodes Freight Services after a phase of renovation to adapt the space to cold chain requirements. The logistics provider offers solutions for vegetables, fruit, pharmaceuticals, and fresh flowers, for which it must ensure appropriate climate conditions.
Moving to Slough from Iver, Rhodes also provides airfreight services in Europe. With a new base at this major trading estate, it can continue to grow its operations within the UK and beyond.
Segro’s portfolio now amasses 10.8 million sqm of logistics space at several sites in and around major cities and transport hubs in the UK. (mk)
