Seeking investors for Reico Spedition
Reico Spedition, which is headquartered in Zossen (Brandenburg, Germany), is preparing for a fresh start. The district court in Potsdam had ordered a temporary insolvency administration for the company’s assets. Torben Ottmar Herbold, a restructuring expert, was appointed as temporary insolvency administrator.
Herbold is currently assessing the situation and would like to restructure the warehousing and logistics company: “Our main objective is to preserve the company and its 193 jobs.” Daily business carries on without restrictions throughout the temporary insolvency proceedings. Wages and salaries are guaranteed.
The order situation of the company, which was founded in 1990 and which has branches in Zossen and Leipzig, is excellent: “The clear goal is to maintain Reico Spedition. The experienced staff and the company’s good market position are attractive incentives for a strategic buyer,” Herbold says. The company is concentrating its search for investors on interested parties from the logistics industry. (mw)
