Second B747F for first service to Europe
After adding the second B747-400ERF to its fleet SF Airlines set up its first intercontinental service. With a length of 9,540 km the connection Wuxi (China) - Chongqing (China) - Frankfurt-Hahn (Germany) - Wuxi is the longest service the Chinese cargo airline offers in its network.
The maximum payload is 110 t per flight. As from May 2019, this "big aircraft" started to fly to destinations overseas, operating SF Airlines' now second longest international route Shenzhen (China) – Chennai (India), and has become SF Airlines’ absolute mainstay that serves the cross-border logistics market.
The carrier's latest addition to its fleet took place on 5 September 2019, just before the logistics peak during the mid-autumn festival, when its 30th B757-200F, the 57th aircraft in total, arrived at its Shenzhen hub. (ah)
