Sealogis forms new freight forwarding division
Within the Sealogis group, Challenge International and Transfer International have joined forces to create Sealogis Freight Forwarding. The organisation of the group's other divisions (shipping, logistics and transport) remains unchanged.
The Sealogis executive committee has approved the Challenge International and Transfer International merger. With 310 employees and a turnover of EUR 230 million, Sealogis Freight Forwarding is now the Sealogis group’s only freight forwarding company. The Challenge International and Transfer International brands will also be replaced by the Sealogis Freight Forwarding brand as of 1 September 2019.
Christophe Buisson, president of the new merged entity, says: “With this merger, we are moving from an entities’ approach to a business approach." (mw)
