Sea-to-air service launched in East Africa
Shipping without a reliable & knowledgeable partner can be overwhelming for many companies because multimodal transport is a complex, delicate operation. Therefore, they require a supply chain partner that can customise solutions to allow smooth shipping from sea-to-air, and eventually to land, or vice versa.
To simplify this journey, Freight in Time recently introduced a new sea-air shipment solution for its customers. The provider meets the cargo when it arrives by sea at the port of Djibouti and then organises the onward delivery by charter service through Ethiopian Airlines.
One of the first shipments included telecom equipment, phones, and phone accessories for Freight in Time's largest client, Huawei Technologies. (ben)
