Schwarzmüller celebrates 150th anniversary
In 2021, the Austrian Schwarzmüller Group is looking back on 150 years of an eventful and internationally successful company history. The industrial company was founded as a smithy in Passau in Lower Bavaria in 1871. During the turmoil of the global economic depression it relocated to Austria.
Since the 1930s (photo) Schwarzmülller has been focused on vehicle construction. Today, the group is active in 21 European countries and, in its own words, it offers "the widest portfolio of trailers and truck superstructures in Europe."
"Our successful company history is an obligation for us to continue to improve our position on the market. The potentials are there," said CEO Roland Hartwig at the company’s Hanzing headquarters in Freinberg near Schärding yesterday, 27 January 2021. (ah)
