Schneider's US business on the move
Wisconsin-headquartered Schneider National achieved revenues of USD of 1.45 billion in Q1/2022 (+28% compared to Q1/2021).
While truckload revenues (excluding fuel surcharge) for Q1/2022 were USD 548.4 million, a growth of USD 81.1 million (+21% compared to Q1/2021), intermodal revenues (excluding fuel surcharge) were USD 302.1 million in Q1/2022, an increase of 18% or USD 46.3 million. Logistics revenues in Q1/2022 were at USD 545.7 million, an uptick of USD 189.8 million, or 53%, compared to Q1/2021.
CEO Mark Rourke said: “During the first quarter, revenue management and new dedicated business helped mitigate inflationary cost pressures and ongoing capacity headwinds in our network truckload business. Our recent acquisition, Midwest Logistics Systems, is performing well.” (sh)
