Schneider National's best year so far
Wisconsin-headquartered Schneider National achieved earnings of USD 532.7 million in 2021 (+86% compared to 2020). The company also reported its Q4/2021 results, with total revenues up 21% compared to Q4/2020, amounting to USD 178 million.
Intermodal revenues (excluding fuel surcharge) were USD 317.6 million in Q4/2021, an increase of USD 48.3 million. This was attributed to a revenue per order of USD 2,772, which is a 20% improvement compared to Q4/2020.
The company grew its container fleet by 3,300 units or 15% in 2021 to end the year with over 25,000 containers. Logistics revenues in Q4/2021 were at USD 547.5 million, an uptick of USD 173.1 million, or 46%, compared to the same quarter in 2020.
