Scan Global Logistics enters Swiss market
Scan Global Logistics is acquiring Belglobe and entering the Swiss market. Switzerland is well-known for its infrastructure and proximity to European markets.
SGL adds this takeover to close to three decades of market presence and a strong position within pharma healthcare and luxury consumables. It is its third acquisition, complementing a portfolio of 48 countries.
Founded in 1994 and located in Avenches, Belglobe provides solutions within temperature-controlled pharma transport (Belcool) and high-security transport of luxury goods (Belsafe). Belglobe also holds a strong position in Latin America due to years of special airfreight services.
