Savage: handing over the baton
Savage has announced that president and CEO Kirk Aubry will be retiring from the company on 31 December 2024 after more than a decade of leadership. Chief operating officer Jeff Roberts is being promoted to the additional role of president, effective immediately. He will assume the role of chief CEO on 1 January 2025.
This transition is part of the board’s succession plan that has been in process for several years. Roberts joined the company as chief financial officer in 2016 and was promoted to chief operating officer in 2022. He was selected unanimously by the Savage board of directors to succeed Aubry as CEO.
Savage is a privately owned, global provider of supply chain infrastructure and solutions, with more than 4,000 team members in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Saudi Arabia. (cj)
