SAS Cargo picks CEO
Max Knagge (photo), SAS head of sales for the US market, has been appointed CEO of SAS Cargo, the cargo and logistics branch of Scandinavian Airlines.
He succeeds Leif Rasmussen, who is to retire from this position after 38 years of service. The transition period starts immediately but Knagge will officially assume his new role on 1 January 2021.
During the last ten years, SAS Cargo has developed into a major player in its field with a strong focus on digital transformation. The group has also participated in the global effort to transport vital medical equipment, goods and cargo since the beginning of the pandemic. (amh)
