SAF now in fashion
Prada Group has announced its first investment in sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) credits, utilising DHL Global Forwarding's "Go Green Plus" service.
By leveraging sustainable fuels, the global logistics services provider can support customers in effectively reducing their transport emissions from airfreight. Already last year, this partnership enabled Prada Group to save approximately 4,500 t of CO2e, which would correspond to 7% of the group’s total transport associated emissions.
Today, SAF is one of the most effective ways to decarbonise the aviation industry, allowing for a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by at least 80% compared to conventional aviation fuel. The SAF used by DHL for the Prada Group has been certified by ISCC (International Sustainability & Carbon Certification). (ah)
