RZDL introduces regular China service

The Russian rail logistics company RZD Logistics has launched a regular service to transport consolidated cargoes from Russia to China.

Shipments will go from Bely Rast to Xi'an, from where some of the goods will be delivered to final consignees in other Chinese provinces. RZD Logistics will organise last mile deliveries, schedule train dispatches, and provide customer support to Chinese buyers.

"The new joint project with the participation of our company is initially focused on shippers from the North-Western, Central and Volga federal districts, but we are confident that other regions of our country will gradually join the shipments," said Alexander Sivertsev, director for container transport at JSC RZD Logistics.
