RZD strengthens position in Japan
Russian Railways (RZD) has opened a representative office in the Japanese capital Tokyo. The new location will represent the company’s interests in Japan, formulate proposals aimed at developing RZD Holding’s international business, promote transport and logistics services and strengthen scientific and technical cooperation in rail transport and the construction and upgrading of facilities and infrastructures.
The representative office will also work on developing cooperation with Russian and Japanese authorities, legal entities and international organisations in rail transport and related industries, RZD said. (ben)
