RVL picks new head of business development
Specialist aviation services provider RVL Group has chosen seasoned aviation specialist David Lacy as its new head of business development. He joined the East Midlands Airport-based airline in late May.
Lacy is tasked with bringing a fresh focus to existing client relationships, as well as generating new business for the company’s core capabilities –its flexible cargo operation, passenger charter, aerial survey, aircraft management and maintenance and specialist operations.
Lacy’s 30-year career in aviation started in airline operations including Heavylift Cargo Airlines and Air 2000. He tackled tour company charter manager roles with Crystal Ski and TUI before a seven-year stint with Satellite Travel, which saw him rise to managing director. After five years as commercial director for Charter Flight Centre and then Cello Aviation, he became a freelance consultant to Sunvil Holidays Group. (mw)
