Russell Stokes to lead GE Aviation Services
General Electric has announced many changes in its senior leadership team. One of them is the appointment of Russell Stokes, a 23-year GE veteran, as chief executive officer and president of GE Aviation Services.
GE Aviation, an operating unit of GE, is a worldwide provider of jet and turboprop engines, as well as integrated systems for commercial, military, business and general aviation aircraft.
The company recently created Stokes' new role, in which he will have to leverage his knowledge of the industry to advise and help position the business for success. Before, Russell Stokes led GE Power, GE Power Portfolio, GE Energy Connections, GE Transportation and held senior roles at GE Aviation. (amh)
