Roundtable at Stockholm Norvik Port
Stockholm Norvik Port recently hosted a roundtable of industrial, municipal and regulatory agency representatives organised by the County Administrative Board of Stockholm and Ports of Stockholm.
The discussion focused on fossil fuel-free transport and the needs of shipping for infrastructure and fuels, and the participants debated ways to make the region’s new freight port into a hub for more sustainable transports of goods.
With its central location on the Baltic Sea and good transport links to the rest of Sweden, Stockholm Norvik Port has the potential to be a strategic hub and partner to promote sustainability, electrification and digitalisation in the Greater Stockholm region.
