Roland Etter elected managing director of Saspa
Saspa (Swiss Aviation Services Providers Association), which was founded a year ago, has appointed Roland Etter as its managing director. The association comprises eight airport service companies with 10,000 employees at the three Swiss national airports and champions its members’ shared interests and concerns.
Roland Etter has worked in executive managerial positions for the ground handling company Swissport in Zurich and Finland, has an excellent network of contacts in the industry and a profound knowledge of the aviation business.
He therefore fulfils all the conditions to lobby for the interests of Saspa’s members with regard to their industry partners: “As managing director of Saspa I would like to help represent the shared concerns of all members vis-à-vis our airport partners and thus contribute to improving the services at all Swiss national airports,” Etter says.
