Röhlig goes to Canada
Röhlig Logistics has added a new subsidiary in Toronto, Canada to its global network. The logistics provider is looking to capitalise on the services sector and innovation in the country, the world’s tenth-largest economy. The expansion also gives Röhlig access to various free trade agreements with former Commonwealth countries, the EU, Asia Pacific, and of course the USA.
“As Canada’s economic powerhouse, Toronto is an ideal starting point for our expansion into the country,” Rafael Ueltschi, CEO Röhlig USA, explains. Headed by Jan Dreyer, the subsidiary will work closely with its American counterpart. Dreyer is a licenced freight forwarder and brings international leadership experience, most recently as regional vice president Central Canada at Kuehne + Nagel. (mk)
