Röhlig expands to Osaka

Röhlig Logistics opened a new subsidiary in Osaka, Japan, on 1 October 2023. The branch will be run by the general manager Nick Takahashi.

“As one of the world’s largest economies and a major trading nation, Japan offers enormous market potential,” says Robert Gutsche, CFO and member of the global executive board at Röhlig Logistics. The company has chosen Osaka for its Japanese headquarters because of its good logistics infrastructure, range of industries, high number of foreign companies and favourable geographical location.

Albert Ho, Regional CEO - North Asia at Röhlig Logistics: “With the 2025 Osaka Expo coming up, the city is set to gain even more traction, especially with the support of our local partner Hankyu Hanshin Express, the logistics arm of Hankyu Hanshin, an Osaka-based conglomerate.” (mk)
