Rocking logistics at the Pan American Games
Team Canada’s logistics operations for the 2023 Pan American Games have been taken care of by Rock-It Global. This included the transport of food, medicine, and sporting equipment (hockey sticks, sailing boats, etc).
The Rock-it team has been preparing for the games in for over a year, with team members scouting the 12 event venues. It used a dedicated warehouse for the games. Most transports were via ocean and air with local trucking to get the equipment to the villages.
“Rock-it transports anything that helps the athletes feel at home, whether that be their favorite cereal bar, furniture, weight training equipment, or more obscure things like team signage and games for the athletes’ lounge,” said Josh Gordon, Director, Sports and Broadcast, Rock-it Global. (mk)
