RIP air cargo industry stalwart Trevor Brading

The air cargo industry is mourning the death of its stalwart, Trevor Brading, who has passed away at the age of 89, following a brief illness.

Brading joined the air cargo industry in 1956, initially working for Pan American Airways. He left Pan Am to join Airport Courier Services in the 1960s, and then went on to work for National Airlines as its UK Cargo Manager around 1968.

Brading re-joined Pan Am briefly, before leaving again to join Delta Air Lines as its UK cargo manager. He remained at Delta until his retirement in 1996. He was also a long-serving committee member of the UK Air Cargo Club's Heathrow branch, of which he was chairman for various terms in the 1980s and 1990s.

The funeral will take place at the Wakefield Crematorium, West Yorkshire (England), on Friday, 22 April 2022, at 12.40 h.
