Riia Sillave becomes CEO of HHLA TK Estonia
The container and multipurpose terminal HHLA TK Estonia, a subsidiary of Hamburg Hafen und Logistik, has appointed Riia Sillave as CEO. She succeeds Vladimir Popov, who is leaving the group.
Born in Estonia, Sillave gained a degree business administration from Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (Germany). She has a wealth of experience in management and executive roles, including in the German automotive industry. Her most recent position was CEO of Rail Baltic Estonia.
Angela Titzrath, chairwoman of HHLA’s board: “I’m delighted that we have been able to recruit Riia Sillave for our terminal in Estonia. With her expertise and her professional experience in both Estonia and Germany she is a perfect fit for the HHLA group.” Titzrath thanked former CEO Popov for his commitment to HHLA TK Estonia.
