Rhenus rebrands Latam operations
The Rhenus Group has rebranded Blu Logistics LATAM to Rhenus Logistics, expanding its footprint across Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay and Uruguay. The rebranding follows Rhenus’ 2023 acquisition of Blu Logistics and reflects its aim to offer consistent service and global standards across Latin America. In 2024, the combined operations handled 210,000 TEUs—up from 180,000 the previous year.
The move also reinforces Rhenus’ India–LATAM trade lane, with India playing a key role as a manufacturing and export hub and Latin America as a source of raw materials. Recent expansion includes a new office in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. "We see immense potential across diverse sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, agro-commodities, textiles and technology", said Bhaswar Arya, Joint Managing Director of Rhenus India. (js)
