Rhenus opens new office at Liège airport
Exactly one month ago, on 11 May 2020, Rhenus Air & Ocean moved from Herstal in Belgium to its new location some 20 km away at Liège airport (LGG). Now even more strategically positioned, the company plans to offer multimodal solutions and expand its global airfreight network.
Handling more than 900,000 t of goods a year, LGG is Belgium’s largest freight airport and one of the fastest growing cargo airports in Europe. A multitude of large air- and charter lines like Qatar Airways, AirBridgeCargo and Ethiopian Airlines use LGG as their continental hub and link it with destinations worldwide.
Frank Roderkerk, CEO Rhenus Air & Ocean Northern Europe: "In addition, LGG has excellent multimodal connections, which will enable us to offer our customers more sea, air and rail freight products." (ah)
