Rewarding meetings in Marrakesh
During the WCA regional conference in Marrakesh last month, WCA World CEO Dan March and general manager – WCA World Specialty Networks, Adam McKenna, visited the Dar Tifl Orphanage.
Following the earthquake that struck Morocco last September, the WCA World Foundation, using donations from members and WCA World founder, David Yokeum, partnered with Dar Tifl and contributed funds to help the orphanage cope with a large new influx of children that had lost their families.
Aided locally by WCA World member Younes El Ouali El Alami, from Transports Internationaux Philippe Peschaud, WCA World managed to get funding to the orphanage.
March: "The greetings we received is a reflection of the amazing work the staff do there in creating a culture that allows the orphans recover and grow in a loving and secure way." (ah)
