Revised Caribbean-Mediterranean connections
The French carrier CMA CGM is reshuffling its weekly service between the Mediterranean, the Caribbean and the West Coast of Latin America. There will be new calls at the ports of Buenaventura, Paita, Posorja and Guayaquil.
The rotation will be updated as follows: Algeciras - Malta - Livorno - Genoa - Marseille - Barcelona - Valencia - Pointe à Pitre - Fort de France - Caucedo - Cartagena - Kingston - Buenaventura - Paita - Posorja - Guayaquil - Moin - Cartagena - Algeciras.
The duration of 56 days remains unchanged, as does the number of seven vessels with a nominal capacity of 6,900 teu each and two smaller units (4,200 teu and 1,700 teu each. Imports to Veracruz and Houston will be offered in relay via Kingston (Brasex service). (sh)
