Restrictions on radioactive shipments to and from Belgium
Effective immediately and until further notice, United Cargo is restricting all shipments containing substances classified as radioactive material originating in or destined for Belgium.
The carrier said that this restriction "is due to a licensing matter and primarily impacts shipments on United flights departing from or arriving in Brussels Airport (BRU)".
And United Cargo continued: "There is no new restriction on any other commodities or substances originating in or destined for Belgium. Shipments that do not contain radioactive material will be transported as usual." (ah)
