Reshuffle at Grieshaber
Founded in 1951, Grieshaber Logistik, Germany, reported a substantial growth in turnover in 2021, reaching the EUR 100 million mark for the first time. The number of employees rose from 600 to 750.
Gregor Schnell, who has been with Grieshaber Logistik since 2008 and has been managing director for purchasing, technology and real estate since 2018, will now lead the company's own logistics and supply chain management departments, which were newly created in 2018.
Roland Futterer, as long-standing managing director, remains in charge of finance, human resources and services. Managing director Alexander Tesch, who as chief operating officer was largely responsible for the expansion of contract logistics and the restructuring of the company, is leaving. The third managing director position for the transport and forwarding division will be filled from Q3/2022.
For customer-specific contract logistics, the medium-sized logistics company has also invested in the new construction and expansion of around 20,000 sqm of logistics space in Cologne and Ravensburg as well as in Krsko, Slovenia. (sh)
