René Bruijne leaves Transfollow
After having served Transfollow as general manager for five years, René Bruijne has decided to leave the company effective 1 March 2020. Bruijne joined Viaservice in 2016 through the acquisition of Transfollow from the Dutch company Beurtvaartadres, where he was CEO for over 12 years.
“After a very successful year 2019, Transfollow now enters a new phase,” Bruijne explains. “The industry has progressed tremendously over the last four years from listening and talking about the advantages of digitising CMR documents to implementing digital transitions. Reaching this important phase of the market adoption, I feel that I have accomplished the mission I started in 2004."
Viaservice has appointed Hans Lip as chief operational officer for the Transfollow business. Lip has been global sales manager at Transfollow since 2017 and is a genuine expert in logistics and digitalisation, making him the perfect and logical candidate for ensuring that the company’s business thrives and continues to grow.
