Renault builds new trucks recycling facility

Increasing its focus on the circular economy, truck manufacturer Renault is setting up a used parts factory recycling plant in Vénissieux, France, where trucks will be dismantled and their parts reused.

Renault Trucks has been investing in the circular economy for five years. It is also pursuing numerous other ways to extend the life of its marketed vehicles.

For example, the company is rebuilding used trucks and upgrading vehicles with the latest technologies in the refurbishment centre in Lyon. There are also used special-series models for sale. The new facility in Vénissieux for the recycling of trucks is a next step in this strategy. (ben)
