Regular train to link Southern France and Germany
The Dutch-German Joint Venture DFDS/Prime Rail is starting a new railway service from Sete in France to Cologne in Germany. The company plans to run three round trips in the near future.
DFDS / Prime Rail will provide the clients of DFDS with an alternative route from Turkey to Cologne along with a new continental line for business from Spain and France. The line will start in Sete, confirming DFDS' strategy to make this location a transport hub. The ferry operator will also launch a new line from Sete to Calais in an offering that will connect Turkey to UK.
In July 2021, DFDS partnered with Prime Rail to expand its intermodal services. The two companies operate more than 80 weekly trains. (ben)
