Regular container train from China to Russia
Multimodal transport operator Ruscon (part of Delo Group) has launched a new railway service to deliver cargo from China to Russia.
The regular container train departs in China from Mianyang and Shijiazhuang in the Sichuan and Hebei provinces and ends its journey in Russia at the Kresty station (Moscow region), which houses Ruscon's own terminal, after a total transit time of 22 days.
Initially, the frequency will be two trains a month, with the prospect of increasing the number to four in the future. The service focuses on consumer goods, automotive parts and equipment. The trains can also transport prefabricated, heavy cargo and chemical industry products.
