Redefinition of System Alliance Europe

The German network System Alliance Europe (SAE), established in 2005, is transforming from a civil law partnership into a registered cooperative under German law.

The aim is to empower the existing partners and to attract new ones, since the alliance has lost major full partners like the Raben Group, Rhenus Freight, Honold and L.W. Cretschmar over a period of five years.

Redefining the IT strategy to further digitise its network processes is considered to be of key importance. “In the coming months, we will be implementing a comprehensive suite of organisational, technological and procedural changes that will optimise our response to the challenges of tomorrow’s market,” said Oliver Rüter, chairman of the executive board of System Alliance Europe.
