Record truck investments in Hungary
Despite the pandemic, Waberer’s International is pressing ahead with one of its biggest investments ever. The Hungarian haulier is modernising its fleet by ordering the latest Volvo and Renault truck models for HUF 12 billion (EUR 33 million).
Such a record breaking investment has never been done before in Hungary or in fact in any of the production companies’ history, Waberers said.
The ordered Volvo FH trucks have a 460 hp (2 600 Nm) D13TC (turbo compound) engines and allow to cut fuel consumption by up to 10% compared to the previous models, while maintaining the same high average speed levels. Waberer’s-Szemerey Logistics and Waberer’s International will receive Renault Trucks’ newest TCK Evolution 2021 models. (ben)
