Record numbers of boxes and vessels at VCTPL
After a successful April 2023, with the handling of over 42 vessels, Visakha Container Terminal (VCTPL) at the port of Visakhapatnam (India) set two new records in May, when 49 vessels were processed and the number of teu handled amounted to 61,468 (previous record in March: 56,578 teu).
M. Angamuthu, Visakhapatnam Port Authority’s (VPA) chairperson, praised the achievement and encouraged the employees to continue the good teamwork. (lh)
