Ready for World Shopping Day
In Spain, Ali Express, an affiliate of Alibaba, is reshaping its delivery network. The company has established three warehouses near Madrid, where it has a stock of thousands of different products sent by sellers in Asia, which can be delivered to Spanish customers within three days.
According to the company's schedule, cross-border products will reach consumers in Spain in ten business days, thanks to the three cargo flights per week between Hong Kong and Madrid.
Ali Express works closely with the Alibaba Group's logistics arm, Cainiao Smart Logistics Network, and further last-mile logistics partners to significantly shorten international delivery times.
For the World Shopping Day 11/11, Cainiao is estimated to charter approximately 700 flights to serve the volume of orders generated by the event. (sh)
