Ready for generation change
Jürg Gygax, who has been EVP service and member of the executive board of the Swiss rail vehicle manufacturer Stadler Group since 2013, has decided to retire as of 31 March 2021 and to hand over his operational responsibility after more than three decades in top positions in the Swiss industry.
He will continue to work for Stadler in a consulting role. Daniel Baer (photo) is his successor, and Benjamin Niederhauser, current head of Stadler’s service region middle, will become Baer’s deputy.
Baer, who joined Stadler in 2004, is currently a member of the executive board of Stadler Service. Before that, he held different specialist and management positions within the division service. He had also worked for ABB and Huber+Suhner. (amh)
