Ramping up in Riyadh
Agility has embarked on the final phase of expansion at its logistics complex in Riyadh, bringing the total available space to over 551,000 sqm. Backed by an investment of SAR 250 million, this new addition of 100,000 sqm is the last part of the company’s development programme at Agility Logistics Parks (ALP).
The first phase is set for completion by next year and will become operational in Q1/2025. The park offers storage, warehousing and distribution solutions while also featuring an energy-efficient design, for which it has become Saudi Arabia’s first building to receive an Edge Advanced certification.
Agility is also investing SAR 611 million in a third project near Jeddah. The company is closely working with government ministries and organisations to boost logistics infrastructure in the kingdom and expects to 300 new jobs at the Riyadh site. (mk)
