Rakuten expands national presence

Rakuten Super Logistics (RSL), a national provider of e-commerce order fulfilment, will open six additional fulfilment centres in 2019, expanding its operations to a total of 18 markets. Mike Manzione, CEO of RSL, said: “Houston and Los Angeles will be our first expansion markets this year. The Houston facility will be strategic for our clients importing products and materials from all over the world – including Brazil and Germany. The Los Angeles centre will be strategically located near the city’s large container port. This location will be instrumental for our clients that import products from Asia.” With its expansion into metropolitan markets, RSL expects to reduce ground transit delivery times to one day.
