Quantron wins order for 38 zero-emission trucks
The order includes battery-electric heavy commercial vehicles and will be delivered to Hama Trucks in Augsburg, Germany. The vehicles are tractor units and rigid trucks of the Quantorn QHM BEV model with a 450 kWh battery system.
Equipped with an aerodynamic package, the vehicles can use swap-bodies and have a range of up to 300 km. All 38 units were granted funding by the German ministry of transport and digital infrastructure (BMVD). The first delivery is scheduled for the end of this year, Quantron said. The order has a total value of EUR 16 million. (ben)
