Quantron seeking way out of insolvency
The German manufacturer of green trucks and buses has had to enter preliminary insolvency proceedings. Lawyer Constantin Graf Salm-Hoogstraeten has been appointed as the provisional insolvency administrator and will now analyse the company's financial situation and look for ways to avert insolvency. Business operations will be maintained for the time being.
Quantron was founded in July 2019 as a spin-off and primarily developed and produced trucks and buses with all-electric powertrains and H2 fuel cell technology.
The founder, Andreas Haller, is currently in rehabilitation following a recent heart attack. In his absence, the company is being managed by a team of Quantron executives. (ben)
