QR Cargo marks World Post Day
In recognition of World Post Day today, Qatar Airways Cargo has announced the relaunch of its mail options. The relaunch ensures that the airline continues to offer a suite of customisable services for traditional and hybrid postal modes. The products are ‘Express Mail’, ‘Priority Mail’, ‘Standard Mail’ and ‘Empty Mail Receptacles’.
One of the enhancements includes 100% electronic data interchange (EDI) out at over 110 stations, with every station equipped with handheld android scanners.
QR Cargo’s mail solutions cater to the requirements of targeted agents in the network and serve one customer per origin, based on its unique international mail processing centre code (IMPC). This allows Qatar Airways Cargo to accept mail shipments from multiple customers from the same origin, regardless of the IMPC code used. (cj)
